We are a trophy shop, not an advertising company. We collect what we need to quote your job and see whether the website works — nothing else, and we do not sell any of it.

The quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the kind of work you need, and whatever details you write in the message box. Only the name and email are required — the rest is there because it usually saves a phone call.
That goes two places: an email to the shop so Daniel can answer you, and a record in our own database so an enquiry is not lost if the email fails. Nothing else on this website asks you for anything.
Like any website, ours records that a visit happened. We use Microsoft Clarity, which measures how pages are used and can replay a session as an anonymised recording of clicks and scrolling, and Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.
We use this to find out that a button is being missed or a page is slow. Clarity sets its own cookies and is governed by Microsoft’s privacy terms. Clarity masks text input by default, so what you type into the quote form is not part of a recording.
Four companies handle your information because they run parts of this website: Vercel hosts it, Supabase stores the enquiry, Resend delivers the email to the shop, and Microsoft Clarity provides the usage analytics. Each of them only ever sees what their job requires.
The map on the contact page is embedded from OpenStreetMap, which will see your IP address if the map loads — the same as visiting their site directly.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to advertisers. It is used to answer you and to run the shop.
Quote enquiries are kept as long as they are useful for serving you — repeat customers reorder from the same artwork years later, and the original enquiry is often how we find it. Analytics data expires on the providers’ own schedules.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will, unless we need part of it for a job in progress or for our own tax records.
Email daniel@awardsandengraving.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to fill in and no charge. Illinois residents, and anyone covered by a law that grants these rights, can exercise them here; we extend the same courtesy to everyone regardless.
If you would rather not be included in the usage analytics at all, turning on your browser’s Do Not Track setting or blocking cookies for this site will keep Clarity from recording your visit.
This website is aimed at people ordering engraving, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If that happened by accident, tell us and it goes.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. We are a shop on Milwaukee Avenue that has been here since 1949 — if something here is unclear, call us and ask.
